I really wanted to reply to your recent post, but there wasn’t a comment box. I just had to say that your story is tragic and I admire you so much for expressing your honest feelings on your blog. I would love for you to extend compassion to yourself – for all you’ve gone through, including the tragedy with your brother when you were young. You are quick to label your husband as compassionate, but you deserve that compassion from him also considering what you’ve been through. It is a partnership and not just his decision to make since it affects you so much!
I am wondering if you’ve tried meditation. Insight tImer is a free app – they have wonderful and healing meditations that might comfort you.
But I’m not here to fix anything. You are remarkable for all you’ve done to survive heart breaking grief. It’s the most horrible of journeys and I cry tears remembering my own journey. Just keep writing and never lose hope that one day you will feel better.
